The Galilee Development Authority and the Ministry of Tourism invite you to celebrate Shavuot in the Galilee, Golan and Valleys as part of the month long Wine Path Festival. We’re celebrating a decade of activities with wine events offering an array of aromas and flavors. The Wine Path Festival enriches with its experiential events, including launches of new wines, wine tasting evenings, a professional wine conference, musical performances, tours along the Wine Path, chef’s gourmet culinary events and wine parties. Dozens of wineries will be taking part all across the Galilee, Golan and Valleys, offering guided tours (please book in advance – details provided for each event) that include tastings, stories about the specific wines, the vintner, and the vineyards.
Four Wineries Celebration
The Ramot Naftali winery, in conjunction with Amram Winery, 3Vines Winery and Na’aman Winery, all located in Ramot Naftali, are hosting a live show by local artists playing a variety of musical styles, from Blues to Latin, Rock n Roll to World New Age. Shuttles will take visitors comfortably from one winery to the other. Each winery will sell refreshments and wines. All wineries are wheelchair accessible. When? A unique concept in wine tours: Western Galilee
An experiential encounter integrating walks in the vineyards, meeting professionals from the wine industry, vintners, grape growers, and owners of wineries. Take a walk through the vineyard with by Roni Ohayon, tour guide, researcher and wine taster of vast experience. Meet at Kibbutz Tuval and set out to tour the Stern Winery with vintner Johnny Stern. Continue with an easy walk of about 90 minutes along Yitzhar Stream and Yassaf Stream which flow among the vineyards and historical sites. Along the way you`ll stop at lookout points and hear explanations about local agriculture. Then take a tour of the Kishor Winery and the Visitors Center for wine tasting and a rich array of refreshments. This is an organized bus tour. Stern Winery: wine is kosher. Cheese & Wine at Lotem Organic Winery
Take the half hour tour of the winery, guided by its owner, who’ll explain the wine producing process and how the winery was established. FESTI-BIS
The Vered Hagalil Farm and Dalton Winery are holding their Upper Galilee food and wine festival for the second year. Festibis will offer “street food” whipped up by Chef Haim Tibi. There’ll be sausages, corned beef, tabbouleh salad, and plenty more. Portions are served with a range of cheeses also produced by the winery. Gush Halav: the winery, the wine, the merge of cultures and religions
Take a stroll through the Danz Winery Visitors Center, with tastings and explanations of how wine and arak are made here. The tour includes a musical performance by local artists with diverse musical pieces. When? Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 6-8 June 2019 – 3-5 Sivan 5779 The tour takes about 2 hours.
